Big Slick Poker Sign-up and Reload Bonuses
Offering a 200% deposit bonus up to $1,000 and paying the bonus $5 at a time each time you reach 500 Big Slick points is the format at the AK poker site. The reload bonuses start at 20% up to $100 on the lowest of the six VIP levels and gradually increase through the tiered levels to 25% up to $110, 30% up to $130, 35% up to $160, 40% up to $200 and 50% up to $300. A first-time depositor receives a token to a $1,000 New Depositors Freeroll.
The BS points you earn can be used to enter various online tournaments, as well as live tournaments at the cardroom in Purley, with buy-ins ranging from 300 to 3,000 BS points. Big Slick points cannot be redeemed for cash as they can at other iPoker sites.
Big Slick Loyalty Tiers and Earning BS Points
The six VIP levels at Big Slick Poker are labelled as a mixture of colors, metal alloys and chemical elements. Starting with Green, the ranked levels at BS Poker progress through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium.
Earning BS loyalty points is calculated according to your loyalty status and the amount of rake taken from each hand. For instance, in poker hands in which the rake ranges from $0.51 to $1, the BS points awarded to players starts at 1 for a Green player, doubles to 2 at the Bronze level, and then increases only by .25 for the remaining four levels topping out at 3 points earned for a Titanium Big Slick player. At that rate and rake level, a Bronze player would have to play 250 hands in which he contributed to the raked pot to earn every $5 of the bonus released to his account.
Big Slick Poker Jackpot SitNGos
Big Slick Poker offers four different Jackpot SitNGos that are potentilly worth thousands of dollars. The Fort Knox Progressive Jackpot SNG is a 6-player event with a buy-in of $50 + $9. If you can win six of those in a row, you’ll take home the massive prize which stars at $50,000 and increases each week until somebody nails it. Failing that, placing either 1st or 2nd in six consecutive SNG’s is worth $750! If the Fort Knox SNG is a little too steep of a buy-in at $50 + $9, then you might feel more at home at the Rio Progressive Jackpot SNG. Also a 6-player tourney, the buy-in is less than half of the Fort Knox at $20 + $3.50, also requiring six wins in a row to claim the jackpot.
Finish 1st or 2nd six consecutive times for a $300 prize. Next, the Maui Progressive Jackpot SNG adds $3,500 to the jackpot every week that starts at $15,000. A full 10-man table at a low buy-in of $5 + $1, the Maui jackpot requires five straight wins to hit the jackpot or at least five straight 2nd place finishes good for $200. Last, and possibly least, the Dirty Dozen Jackpot SNG (non-progressive) is a two-table, twelve-player, $2 + $0.40 that requires four consecutive 1st place finishes for $2,000 in cash.
A decent deposit bonus of 200% up to $1,000 might persuade some players to sign up and play at Big Slick Poker. The Progressive Jackpot SNGs might entice a few more players. But with no cash bonuses awarded for accumulating and redeeming BS points other than the initial sign-up bonus, it looks as though some players would find Big Slick Poker to be a load of BS.
