About Betmost Poker

BetMost are an iPoker skin owned by William Hill. They are a relatively small skin with close to zero presence on social media. The main way in which they drive advertising is through their affiliate scheme. This scheme is run through a third party - RoyalStakes.com. The scheme allows players to gain financial rewards through promoting BetMost and getting more players on the site.

BetMost Poker is licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner respectively. The company behind this relatively small iPoker skin is WHG (International) Limited, or better known as William Hill. BetMost Poker is also a registered Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) bookmaker. Having said that BetMost do not offer any online sports betting.

A quick internet search of the site won’t fill a player with confidence. As said above the player base of the site is heavily reliant on affiliates bringing in players. These players are often offered great deals and it appears from some instances around the web that these payments are often delayed. Site safety does seem of paramount importance, according to the website. Privacy, security and fair gaming are all issues addressed heavily by BetMost. Players may need to be careful when choosing which affiliate to sign up through.

BetMost do offer sponsorships to players. The team currently advertised on the website isn’t exactly full of house hold names. The team at the moment is made up of seven players. Three targeting the Canadian market, three targeting central Europe and of course every site needs a Scandinavian!

Software / Colour Scheme / User interface

BetMost have a rather simplistic lobby. It is dark in colour, primarily using black and grey. On the top left they use the BetMost logo. On the right of that they are advertising their casino games. The casino game buttons make noise when you hover over them and are have a dated looking design to them. The tables have a nicer design. A green felt table is set on a black and grey background. The betting buttons are in red so players have no excuse for timing out. The simplicity of the design certainly makes it very player friendly.

The functionality of the software is the same as the rest of the iPoker skins. The software allows players to choose 4 colour decks, different bet slider options as well as auto top-up for cash game players. The lobby is easy to navigate between cash games, tournaments, sit & gos as well as the newer speed poker and twister games.

Skin specific bonus information

BetMost offer a 200% first deposit bonus up to $2,000. The bonus is released in increments of $5 for every 500 BetMost points earned. Players have 60 days to clear their bonus.

BetMost Points are awarded at different rates for cash tables and tournaments so I will run through what it takes to clear the bonus for each of them now.

Cash players – To clear the full $2,000 bonus as a cash player you need to earn 200,000 BetMost points. This means you need to pay $16,667 in rake. This only works out at 12% rakeback while clearing the bonus.

Tournament players – Again to clear the full bonus you need to earn 200,000 BetMost Points. A tournament player will need to pay $10,000 to release the full $2,000 bonus. The rakeback percentage is a lot higher in that you are receiving 20% rakeback while clearing the bonus.

This has to be one of the worst bonus offers available on the iPoker network. It actually looks rather attractive initially as 200% up to $2,000 is one of the best around. However, it is very unrealistic for most players to clear this bonus in 60 days. For example, a tournament player on the iPoker network will find it very hard to play $100,000 worth of tournaments to play over the course of 60 days. A high stakes cash player who plays decent volume might have some chance of clearing it but it’s just not worth it when they are only being rewarded with a 12% rakeback from the bonus. There are certainly much better offers out there.

Five – Level Five requires earning 10,000 points in a given month. Players receive a 500% points boost here as well as VIP Cash rewards and entry to the weekly $250 & $500 freerolls. Players are also entered into a monthly $5,000 freeroll at this level. Minimum rake to reach this level is $834 in cash game rake or $500 in tournament fees.

Six – Level Six players earn 30,000 points in a month. Players receive a 550% points boost to go with entry in weekly $250, $500 and $1,000 freerolls. Players are also entered into a monthly $5,000 freeroll at this level. Players need to rake $2,500 in cash games or $1,500 in tournament fees to reach this level.

Seven – Level Seven requires 80,000 points earned in a month. Players receive a 600% booster at this level. They also receive VIP cash rewards, entry into weekly $250, $500 & $1,000 freerolls as well as a monthly $5,000 freeroll. Reaching this level requires raking $6,667 as a cash game player or paying $4,000 in tournament fees.

Eight – Level Eight requires earning 200,000 points in a month. Level eight players receive a 650% points booster. They also receive VIP cash rewards, entry into weekly $250, $500 & $1,000 freerolls as well as a monthly $5,000 freeroll. Reaching this level requires raking $16,667 points as a cash game player or $10,000 in tournament fees.

Nine – This level requires earning 500,000 points in a month. Players will be rewarded by a 700% points booster. They also receive VIP cash rewards, entry into weekly $250, $500 & $1,000 freerolls as well as a monthly $5,000 freeroll. Reaching this level requires raking $41,667 in cash games or paying $25,000 in tournament fees.

Ten – The pinnacle of the BetMost VIP system requires earning 800,000 points per month. Players receive a 750% points booster. They also receive VIP cash rewards, entry into weekly $250, $500 & $1,000 freerolls as well as a monthly $5,000 freeroll. Live sponsorship is available to players of this level. To reach this level players need to rake $66,667 in cash rake or $40,000 in tournament fees.

Players can redeem their BM points directly for cash. Players can exchange 1,000 BM Points for $1.50 right up to 55,000,000 points for $250,000. There are so many variables in this system to precisely say how much a grinder will earn in rakeback. With the booster system that is in place a decent grinder will get in the region of 25% to 30% rakeback. The system for cashing in your points is a bit strange. A player needs to fill out a form which then takes 72 hours to convert into cash in your account.

Skin specific games

BetMost Poker doesn’t offer any skin specific games. As a smaller skin, games for BetMost players only wouldn’t get too many runners and therefore players just have the choice of the iPoker network games.

Site Safety / Security / Reputation in Forums

BetMost unfortunately don’t seem to have a great reputation among the online poker community. There are numerous complaints to be found around the popular forums. People consistently have to chase up the support each month to get the rewards owed to them. It is surprising that this is the case given they are part of the reputable company William Hill. It seems as though this site is primarily attractive to “rakeback pros” that get great deals through affiliates. They have minimal presence on social media pushing the brand. It looks to me that it is a site in decline.

According to their website, BetMost uses the most advanced statistical analysis tools along with expert vigilance to guard against player collusion. In addition to this they protect the privacy of their players using 128-bit SSL technology and use a true random number generator to ensure the integrity of the game isn’t compromised.

Customer Support

BetMost Poker offer support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The options for contacting them are via email, telephone and fax. I have mixed thoughts on the quality of their support. On their website they offer two email support contacts. The address designated to dealing with VIP queries seems to be extinct or just ignored for the time being. On the other hand the main support offers quick response times.

In this day and age I’m also not sure how many people require a fax support option. I would much rather see a live support option within the iPoker client. Live support is generally the easiest way from a user’s point of view when looking for answers and it is a real shame that BetMost don’t offer it.

Verdict

I wouldn’t recommend BetMost as an iPoker skin to play on. There are so many better options out there on the network, such as Paddy Power, Expekt and Titan, which you will feel a lot safer on as well as being rewarded more. The reputation of BetMost is certainly a little tarnished among the online community. Even though it is backed by a reputable company in William Hill I feel your money is better used elsewhere. In general it strikes me as a dated site that isn’t striving to make the improvements other sites are.
